Light Removal: Saturday, January 8, 2011- 9am to 3pm
Those million white lights must come down somehow, and WE DO IT!  The date this upcoming year is Saturday, January 8, 2011 - and again on January 15th if we don't finish the first day (which we've managed to do the last 4 years thanks to the wonderful volunteers!) We always feed our volunteers lunch, provide soda and water throughout the day and LOTS of wipes & Band-Aids!  We meet at 9a and usually call it a day around 3p. Again, you don't have to stay all day, any amount of time you can donate is definitely needed!  High-schoolers are allowed on the medians, Middle-schoolers must be with a parent(s) or a guardian at all times.  For safety reasons, no grade-schoolers, please. No need to sign up...just show up!
